![]() Ultimately, the inexhaustible strength of her spirit simply surpassed her body’s limits. She was a perennial optimist who never stopped believing she would survive. ![]() Though it must have seemed unfair that the path chosen for her was so full of hardship, she never let herself become an angry or bitter person and despite all the pain she had to endure, she never complained. She enjoyed reading novels, making crafts, listening to rock ‘n’ roll, camping with her family and friends and attending her daughter Jennifer’s many go-kart races. An easy and entertaining person to talk with, she owed much of her success as a beautician to her natural skill as a conversationalist. She was an amiable woman, honest and unpretentious, whose warm manner endeared her to the countless people she met in her work and personal life. She later moved the business to a salon in her home where she continued to work until she was physically unable. ![]() Three years later she began running her own beauty shop on Main Street. In 1990, she moved with her husband Robert and three children to West Middlesex. She graduated in 1973 from Keystone Joint High School and soon after began her career as a hairstylist, working in salons in the Clarion area. She and her four siblings were raised in Shippenville, Pa. Cyndi was born in Clarion on March 2, 1955, to Darwin and Maude Harriger Robertson. Cynthia Sue Williams, of West Middlesex, passed away Friday (3-28-08) at her home after having defiantly fought a metastasized breast cancer for over a decade.
